Fishing Pond Musashinoen
Located in Wadahori Park, a metropolitan park in the Suginami Ward, spread along the Zenpukuji River. The fishing pond is located in one part of the park, which is surrounded by rich greenery and dotted with various facilities such as a playground and BBQ area.
This time, I visited a fishing pond near Nishi-Eifuku Station on the Inokashira Line. It was really nice!
Hikawa International Trout Fishing Spot
Located just about a 8-minute walk from the JR Okutama Station, this fishing spot boasts easy access for all. Although many parts of the downstream Nippara River are characterized by rugged valleys, this fishing area offers a flat and expansive riverbed, making it safe and enjoyable for people of all ages, from young children to the elderly.
You can really enjoy fishing surrounded by beautiful mountains and water, all right here in Tokyo.
Chirihama Nagisa Driveway
This is one of the few roads in the world along a sandy beach that can be driven on. The 8-kilometer-long road runs along the beach and can be driven not only by car but also by motorcycle or bicycle. The finely packed sand particles make driving along the beach like a scene from a movie, and it is especially moving to watch the sun set.
An 8-kilometer-long beach where you can park anywhere and jump right into the water. Super cool!
Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum
The largest cultural facility in the prefecture that combines a museum and an art gallery, affectionately known as Okimyu.
The architecture of the Okinawa Prefectural Museum is really unique. There's so much to see and it's very diverse. If you have enough time, you can really take your time exploring. 😄
Tamaudun (Imperial Tomb)
This mausoleum was built in 1501 during the reign of King Shōshin, the most powerful king of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The tomb is a huge stone structure modeled after Shuri Castle, and is characterized by the fact that the tomb chamber where the remains are buried is divided into three sections on the east and west sides.

Naha City First Makishi Public Market
It is the kitchen of the Uchinanchu (Okinawan people), with colorful fish, island vegetables that convey the energy of the land, pork of various parts, and other foods unique to Okinawa.
Known as Okinawa's kitchen, this place sells all kinds of local seafood, Agu pork, Ishigaki beef, and other fresh ingredients.
Ishinomaki Genki Ichiba
Along the Kitakami River, a 2-story market stands at the heart of Ishinomaki City. The merchandise section on the 1st floor provides fresh seafood from Ishinomaki Port.
This place is a treasure trove of seafood! I've come here for a little getaway two years in a row.
Bessho Onsen
A traditional hot spring town with a history of 1400 years. Many shrines and temples scattered throughout the area, it has long been known as the “Kamakura of Shinshu” and loved by many people. It also appears in “Makura No Soshi (The Pillow Book, a famous essay written in the old times), as a “Hot spring for beauty”.
Bessho Onsen is the oldest hot spring in Nagano. It's a natural hot spring and has preserved many historic buildings, including national treasures and important cultural properties. Definitely worth a visit!
Nagamachi Yuzen Kan - Workshop of Kaga-Yuzen
This facility conveys the charm of Kaga Yuzen, one of Kanazawa's proud traditional crafts.
You can see the dyeing process of Kaga Yuzen here, along with exhibits and introductions. You can even visit the workshop where they make Yuzen. Highly recommended!
Nokonoshima Island Park
Nokonoshima, a small island off the Hakata Port. Spanning a meager 12km of area, this resort island can be accessed via a 10-minute boat ride from the Meinohama Ship Port in Nishi-ward, Fukuoka City.
You can really feel like you're in a hidden paradise here. There's a beautiful blue ocean view and a seaside garden full of blooming flowers. So pretty! 😯
