Oirase Stream

Oirase Stream, a renowned tourist attraction awarded two stars in the Michelin Green Guide, stretches approximately 14 kilometers from the shores of Lake Towada at Nenokuchi to Yakeyama. It's a national Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument, celebrated for its waterfalls, clear streams, giant rocks, and steep cliffs.

Oirase Stream in fresh spring greenery. We visited in May and stayed at the Oirase Keiryu Hotel for three days and two nights. The temperature was very comfortable, and the air was full of negative ions and phytoncides. It was refreshing and uplifting. Japan in every season.

Hoshinoya Kyoto

On a family trip, we stayed at Hoshinoya Kyoto for three days and two nights. We arrived elegantly by boat, immersed ourselves in the tranquil valley, stream, and forest, and savored luxurious, delicious cuisine, as if we were aristocrats in ancient Kyoto.

KAI Tsugaru

This hot spring ryokan stands in Owani Onsen, a hot spring town about a 30-minute drive from central Hirosaki that has long welcomed visitors seeking therapeutic bathing. It brings together the nature, cuisine, and culture of the Tsugaru region in western Aomori Prefecture. The bathing area is distinguished by its atmospheric open-air bath with an arched roof reminiscent of a kamakura snow hut.

During apple-picking season, we stayed at KAI Tsugaru in Owani Onsen. Each season has its own charm. The garden, apple hot spring, luxurious and delicious cuisine, and shamisen performance were a feast for the body, mind, and soul.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower was born in 1958. When it was built, Tokyo Tower proudly stood out as the tallest steel tower in the world. At a height of 33 meters, it was taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is located in Minato Ward in the center of Tokyo. Take in sweeping views of the city from the observation deck. Currently under renovation, it is always changing.
