Taiza Crab - Kyotango Ryugu Project -
Make your own crab rice bowl at a local inn using crab landed in Taiza, one of Japan’s leading crab-fishing areas. The female seko crabs used as toppings are small but prized for their rich tomalley, bead-like outer roe, and inner roe found inside the shell.
It was very interesting experience of cooking Japanese meals and a huge variety of delicious seafood to try.

Former Toyosato Elementary School Buildings
The former Toyosato Elementary School buildings were designed by the Vories architectural firm, which was based in Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture, and worked on projects throughout Japan beginning around 1908. Public elementary schools are particularly rare among the more than 1,000 Vories buildings. The school featured state-of-the-art facilities for its time, including reinforced-concrete buildings, wide, lengthy hallways, and a separate library. Join a Toyosato Town sightseeing guide on a tour of the former school buildings, once called “the finest elementary school in the East.”
Visiting classrooms makes you feel the atmosphere of Japanese school many years ago. Very nice to get to know it.

All seven rooms, each with a different taste, are furnished with items from renowned brands such as Vitra and FritzHansen, giving life to a sophisticated space.
Luxury villa with private onsen was very comfortable place to stay. The barbecue outside was delicious. We were served the huge variety of meat, fish and other food.
