I took the Kintetsu Limited Express from Osaka to Yoshino Station. After leaving the station, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Senbon-guchi Ropeway Station. Riding the oldest ropeway in Japan up the mountain was a smooth experience, and I was able to avoid the traffic jams on the road.

Taking the ropeway is a unique experience. If you come to Matsuyama, you definitely have to visit Matsuyama Castle.
