You can see the Kobe night view from the top of the mountain. It's definitely worth coming here.

Maruya Honten Ginza Glasse opened in Tokyo’s Ginza district in 2024 as a branch of Maruya Honten, an eel restaurant founded in Nagoya. The signature dish is hitsumabushi, a Nagoya specialty of grilled eel over rice, featuring carefully selected eel grilled by skilled chefs until fragrant.
The eel here doesn’t just have a strong sauce flavor—you can also taste the aroma from the charcoal grilling. It goes really well with the distinct grains of Japanese rice. I especially liked adding dashi at the end. It was light and easy to eat, giving the whole meal a very pleasant finish.

Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter
The traditional streets of the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter feature white walled warehouses, grid pattern walls, Namako-kabe, and rows of weeping trees, creating a beautiful and charming townscape. This harmonious and historic scenery is very popular with tourists.
I love the old-fashioned riverside vibe here. The little bridges, flowing water, and willow trees make it feel so poetic!

The valid areas are between the stations of Karuizawa and Shinonoi operated by Shinano Railway, and the non-reserved seats between JR Shinonoi and Nagano on Shinetsu Main Line by local train service (including rapid train).
The natural scenery along the way is really beautiful.
