There’s a huge selection of seafood here, and everything is super fresh. The big parking lot makes it really easy to stop by.

Arakurayama Sengen Park
Arakurayama Sengen Park is famous as a place to view the splendid scenery of the magnificent Mount Fuji with a pagoda dedicated to those who died in battle. Inside the park grounds, about 650 Sakura trees have been planted. In the spring, the picturesque Japanese scenery of cherry blossoms, the pagoda, and Mount Fuji can be seen.
Mount Fuji is often hidden by clouds, so if you're unlucky, your trip might be for nothing. There’s no cable car, so you have to hike all the way up. If you’re not in good shape, I wouldn’t recommend trying it.

Nasu Highland Park
Boasted as the largest amusement park in the northern Kanto region, Nasu Highland Park is divided into 7 areas including Coaster Plaza, Rock N’ Roll Plaza, Galaxy and Star Plaza, Tropicana Park, Carousel Park & Victorian Garden, Woods and Water Fantasy Land, Kings Coat.
It has a retro amusement park vibe. The view from the Ferris wheel is absolutely stunning, and both kids and adults had a blast.

Bakery & Restaurant Sawamura Kyu-Karuizawa
2015 at Kyu-Karuizawa Rotary as the second shop in Karuizawa following Harunire Terrace. The shop is popular especially among vacationers staying nearby, who come to enjoy the freshly baked bread in the morning as it opens.
The atmosphere inside is really relaxed and comfortable—perfect for enjoying a meal. There are all kinds of different breads, and I just can’t get enough of them.
