There are lots of temples to explore and the environment is great. You can also see Lake Biwa from here.

上高地食堂
The cafeteria is located on the second floor of the Kamikochi Tourist Center, facing the Kamikochi Bus Terminal, which is bustling with tourists and climbers during the season. You can enjoy the view of the magnificent Hotaka mountain range while savoring dishes made with local produce from Shinshu.
After walking all around Kamikochi, this is a great spot to fill up and recharge.

KARUIZAWA PRINCE SHOPPING PLAZA
It is one of Japan’s largest resort-style shopping malls, located just outside the south exit of JR Karuizawa Station. There are 10 areas on the premises in a rich natural setting, having about 240 stores offering a wide range of products, including famous brands, interior goods, general goods, and outdoor products. It is an attractive place where you can get high-quality items from top brands at outlet prices.
If you stay at the Prince Resort Hotel, you can go skiing in winter and enjoy shopping at the mall during your free time.

Imabari Kokusai Hotel
Imabari Kokusai Hotel has the largest number of guestrooms in Shikoku. The main building of 23 floors can be seen from anywhere in Imabari city, and is beloved as a landmark of the city.
This is the tallest and largest hotel in Imabari. The views are fantastic and the breakfast is pretty good too.
