Every hour, there's a 'Wish Moment' when all the lights go out and then slowly light up again. The whole process feels so ceremonial—it's like hope and blessings are flowing through the lights. Super touching!

Hirosaki Cidre Workshop kimori
Hirosaki Apple Park in Hirosaki City is a vast site of Approx. 9.7 hectares, planted with Approx. 2,300 apple trees, and the white blossoms that bloom around the snowmelt season are beautiful. In autumn, red apples spread across the grounds. Cidre made by apple farmers who came together to preserve this scenery and pass it on to the future is making waves. Cidre is a brewed alcoholic beverage made from apples, and this one is brewed with apples grown by the company in its own orchards.
The sparkling hard cider is super refreshing—you can really taste the natural apple aroma. It’s not too sweet, and it pairs perfectly with little snacks.
The staff were really friendly and explained the brewing process, so it was fun to listen while sipping.
Outside the window is a huge apple orchard, and if you come in the right season, seeing it filled with apples is seriously soothing. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and slowly enjoy the local flavors. -
Kuzumaki Highland Ranch
Kuzumaki Highland Ranch is one of Japan's largest public ranches set up at a spot 650 meters above sea level. With peaceful scenes of sheep grazing, it’s a top-rated sightseeing spot in Iwate Prefecture, offering a wide variety of dairy farming and ranch activities.
The fresh milk here is amazing! It's rich but not heavy at all. Buying and drinking it right on the spot is just awesome!
