A Capsule Hotel at the Best Location for Sightseeing in Tokyo! Hotel 3000 Asakusa
The flagship Hotel Asakusa 3000 is located 7 minutes on foot from Asakusa Station on the Metro Ginza Line and TOEI Asakusa Line.
Although it's situated close to Sensoji Temple, the rates are extremely cheap, starting from just ¥2,000, including a free breakfast!
This hotel is inside Asakusa's shopping district. On the first floor, there's a general store.
With a convenience store right in front, it's very well-situated!
You can borrow a bicycle for free. Would you feel a bit embarrassed with the hotel's advertising emblazoned on it?
However, for going around the area, a bicycle is convenient!
Since a lot of overseas tourists stay here, there are many multilingual guidance signs. This is a non-smoking facility equipped with free Wi-Fi service.
By the way, there's also an elevator.
There are also staff members who can speak foreign languages.
After checking in, I took my discount coupon downstairs to the general store on the 1st floor. There, I received a cute set of nail clippers!
You can drink as much as you like, but it's too bad that the coffee was so weak!
A free breakfast is offered every morning, buffet-style, in the common space (6-9 am).
Rooms
There are rooms for women, men and mixed genders. The bedrooms are capsule-style bunk beds. Underneath is a storage space for luggage.
They also have rooms for 2 or 4 people that may be locked. It might be a good idea for friends or family staying together to reserve them.
A lot of people stay here for more than one night, so their luggage was in disarray...

Amenities include disposable toothbrushes and razors.
Considering the number of guests, there seemed to be a lot of toilets and shower rooms.
They will lend you a free towel.
Strolling Around Asakusa
Walk a little and you will reach Sensoji Temple. This is a fun area to stroll around!
Summary
The breakfast buffet was mostly fried food and carbohydrates. It's too bad that there weren't many vegetables. Considering that it's a free meal, though, I guess it's good enough!
For such a conveniently located hotel, I was surprised that its fees were set so cheaply! !
