Matsuyama City in Ehime prefecture is the biggest city in Shikoku area. Not only the city is famous for magnet tourist spots such as Matsuyama castle and Dogo Onsen, it is also deeply associated with Japanese literature and historical famous people. I made a trip to Matsuyama for 3 nights and 4 days back in November, 2016. In my article, I am going to show you the pictures from the trip and I hope they will help you to get to know the area. The Sanno Matsuri, one of Tokyo's Three Major Festivals
The Sanno Matsuri is a religious festival held by Hie Shrine in Tokyo. During Japan's Edo Period (1603-1867), a portable shrine used in Shinto festivals, called Mikoshi, was carried into the Edo Castle grounds.
