Sarue Onshi Park

A Place to Relax and enjoy a Picnic or Sports.

Last update :

This is a municipal park built on the grounds of a former lumberyard that stored wood used for construction.

Boasting about 200 cherry trees of the Somei-yoshino variety planted here, this park attracts crowds of visitors in the spring. It’s also popular with photographers who want to shoot the cherry blossoms with the Tokyo Skytree.

With a grassy field perfect for picnics and play equipment for children as well as adult-use exercise equipment and a jogging course, this park can be used by people of many ages. In the summer, there's also a paddling pool where children can play in the water, in addition to a baseball field and tennis courts.
*Please note that the baseball field and tennis courts are paid sports facilities.
