Anyo-ji Temple (Fuchu City, Tokyo)
Keeps a part of the Sensoji Temple buddha enshrined inside its Kannon-do Hall.
This ancient Tendai sect temple was founded by Jikaku Daishi in 859. The main god found inside is a wooden, seated image of Amida Nyorai.
Its main gate, known as the "Kouramon" was reconstructed in 1833.
Inside the Kannon-do Hall, a part of the Bodhisattva from Sensoji temple can be found. It's position is aligned with sensoji so that you can worship the same god at Sensoji Temple without having to go to Asakusa.
