Kamo River / Nakaumi Sightseeing Boat
The cruise for enjoying the Nakaumi’s scenery and quaint townscape along the Kamo River.
The sightseeing Boat starts near the Tenjinbashi Bridge in front of the earthen storehouses with white walls. It passes by Yonago’s nostalgic downtown, which used to prosper as a merchant town, and floats into Nakaumi to see Minatoyama Park and Yonago Castle Ruins. After going under the Fukaura Bridge, it runs into Shinkamogawa River, reaches the Sculpture Road, then turns around. The whole cruise takes about 50 minutes.
The river is calm and the Uchiumi Sea speeds up the boat through the refreshing breeze. While going under the bridges, you have to duck in time which feels like a fun game!
It operates on reservation. From May through early October, the Sunset Cruising is run on clear days. Although the boat takes a break from December to March, it runs when the weather is good. Have a relaxing time, listening to the boatman’s guide.
