Kissa YOU
The famous soft omelet rice is a must-eat! The traditional cafe behind the Kabukiza Theatre.
Behind the Kabukiza Theatre, about a 2-minute walk from Higashi-ginza Station’s Exit 3, Kissa YOU is a long-time favorite for locals and Kabuki actors. The two-story retro cafe has the interior with the good old Showa Period atmosphere.
They serve drinks such as coffee, tea and Kombucha and retro western meals such as Napolitan spaghetti and hamburger. One particularly famous dish is omelet rice. The moist rice seasoned with ketchup is topped with an almond-shaped omelet. When sliced, the egg melts into the rice. So fluffy, rich and creamy, the harmony of rice and omelet is heavenly and the taste is hard to forget. Take-out is available for yourself or a good friend.
