Fucha Ryori (Cuisine), Bon
Satisfy your soul and stomach with seasonal Fucha Cuisine, one of the Shojin vegetarian dishes.
Fucha Cuisine is one of the Shojin vegetarian dishes. It is said to have come to Japan almost 300 years ago when the Chinese monk, Ingen, built Obakusan Manpuku-ji Temple in Uji, Kyoto. Fucha originally meant serving tea to everyone. It is the cuisine served in the Chinese dinner style after Sarei where a group of guests drink tea together with the spirit of sharing food and drink equally. Bon offers their unique seasonal Fucha Cuisine based on the Obaku Fucha’s Zen spirit that food is medicine. The historical healthy dishes will fill your soul and stomach.
The restaurant has private rooms for 2 - 40 guests for various occasions. There are foot-warming holes and chairs for Japanese rooms, which are nice for guests from other countries.
