This is Tokyo's very first professional classical music concert hall. I really enjoy coming here for concerts.

Suntory Hall
The “Music Hall of Fame” with the sound effects that enhances presence.
This hall was created specifically for concerts in 1986. It was designed for “the most beautiful resonance” and has been hosting regular concerts for orchestras in Tokyo, visiting orchestras from overseas, and special performances provided regularly by the Hall. A number of outstanding performances were produced here and classic fans throughout the world calls it “Music Hall of Fame.”
It consists of the Main Hall with 2,006 seats and Blue Rose (Small Hall) with 384-432 seats. The Main Hall is especially famous for its beautiful acoustic effects. Japan’s first vineyard-style seats surround the stage and help the audience feel the presence of the performers. In sounds and visions, the players and the audience become one in their music experiences.
Many friendly events are held such as the “Open House” where the hall is opened free once a year, or the “Organ Promenade Concert,” a free monthly organ concert (except for April and August).
