The character is "Toranomon," a cat-shaped business robot, and it is a skyscraper complex with 52 floors above ground and 5 below, directly connected to Toranomon Hills Station. In addition to restaurants and other commercial facilities, the building will house offices, residences, and "Andaz Tokyo", the first lifestyle hotel to open in Japan.
The commercial facilities on the 1st-4th floors are lined with about 30 popular restaurants and cafes, as well as a wide variety of deli type eateries for take-out. It also features plenty of open spaces, including an all-glass atrium space with a liberating atmosphere and an "oval plaza" with a large human-shaped objet that makes a big impact.
This "Mori Tower" and the neighboring "Toranomon Hills Business Tower" and "Toranomon Hills Residential Tower" are the skyscrapers of "Toranomon Hills," and development of the area is still underway. 2023 will see the opening of the new "Toranomon Hills Station Tower," which is expected to become an even hotter spot.
