Sendai Akiu Onsen Hotel Zuiho

Located along the scenic Natori River about 30 minutes by car from JR Sendai Station, Akiu Onsen boasts a history of more than 1,000 years since its opening and is one of the "three most popular hot springs in Oshu."

"Hotel Zuiho" is located a 10-minute walk from Rairaikyo Gorge, where cliffs and huge rocks create a spectacular view unique to the valley. The hotel boasts a hot spring, where you can enjoy the famous hot spring in the beautiful Japanese garden with six different types of open-air baths, including a striking hot spring and standing hot spring, as well as a spacious large bath. Dinner and breakfast are served at the restaurant SEASONS, which was renovated in 2017. In a relaxed atmosphere with an open atrium, the restaurant offers freshly prepared dishes such as char-grilled beef tongue, sushi, and tempura, cooked right in front of your eyes by the chef. The buffet-style menu allows diners to enjoy their favorite dishes to their heart's content.
