A long-established Japanese confectionery shop with over 120 years of history, located near the famous "Yama Futatsu" in Enoshima. The shop is renowned for its signature Nori Yokan, a unique creation from the early days of the shop. This refined treat is made with the finest white kidney bean paste and delicately mixed with green laver. Other popular yokan varieties include Honkuren Yokan and Kuri Yokan, made with carefully selected red beans and chestnuts, respectively.
In addition to yokan, Nakamuraya offers local specialties perfect for enjoying while exploring Enoshima. These include Tennoh-bayashi, a fluffy castella-like cake with a taiko drum imprint symbolizing the Enoshima Hayashi festival, and Meoto Manju, available in smooth red bean paste or chunky red bean paste varieties.
The shop also features innovative sweets such as Cream Tofu made with fresh cream and soy milk, and Akane Tofu, which has a chewier texture than traditional mizu-yokan.
