Head Editor : Enoshima Escar

The Enoshima Escar is Japan's first outdoor escalator, installed in 1959 to bring convenient access to the summit of Enoshima.

The escalator is divided into three sections, and the first section, named Enoshima LUMINOUS WAY, features an enthralling view flanked with video art on both sides to recreate the look and feel of being underwater.
The exit of the first section will bring you just steps from Hetsumiya of Enoshima Shrine, the second leads directly to Nakatsumiya, and the third section provides quick access to the Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden. This setup allows visitors to explore the island at their own pace.

Combo tickets are also available, which include access to the Enoshima Escar, Samuel Cocking Garden, and Enoshima Sea Candle. There's also an "Enoshima and Enosui Area Passport" (priced at 3100 yen for adults) that includes the Iwaya Caves and the New Enoshima Aquarium, offering a value-packed way to experience multiple sights in one trip.
