A contemporary art museum that opened in June 2024 on the campus of Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen in Shibuya, Tokyo. It presents themed exhibitions from a contemporary art collection of more than 700 works owned by entrepreneur and investor Mikikuro Ueshima. Spanning six floors from B1 to the 5th floor, its varied exhibition spaces are designed to make use of the former British School in Tokyo building, including its old gymnasium, infirmary, principal’s office, and connecting corridors.

On display throughout the museum are works by leading figures in the Japanese and international art scenes, including Yayoi Kusama, Yoshitomo Nara, Takashi Murakami, Chiharu Shiota, Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol, and Olafur Eliasson. With “contemporaneity” as its central theme, the museum also spotlights works by young and emerging artists.

Tickets must be reserved in advance for a specific date and time, and entry is self-service using a QR code. You will also need to show your QR code to enter each exhibition room, so it is recommended to save a screenshot in advance.
