Iwafune Fruit Park
Sweet, fresh, and picked at peak freshness! Enjoy a full lineup of seasonal fruit-picking experiences.
This spacious 7.7-hectare spot offers seasonal fruit-picking experiences, with strawberries from late December to mid-May, blueberries from July to mid-August, and grapes, pears, and more from late August onward.
Strawberries are especially popular here, as you can enjoy all you want for 30 minutes. The elevated growing system lets you check the strawberries while standing, so you can pick them at peak ripeness and fully enjoy their fresh, sweet flavor.
Varieties include the new standard Tochiaika and the classic Tochiotome, as well as premium varieties such as the large-sized Skyberry, often used as gifts, and Royal Queen, known for its rich sweetness and red flesh all the way through.
After fruit picking, enjoy shopping at the on-site Marche Iwafune. In addition to fresh farm produce sold at direct-market prices, you can also try handmade gelato, known for its smooth texture and rich flavor, made with fruit grown in the park and fresh milk from Tochigi Prefecture.
