Waqoo Naritasanmonzen
A special stay where you can experience the history of Kabuki and Naritasan.
A cultural luxury hotel standing along the Omotesando approach to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. It opened in 2022 as a one-of-a-kind place to stay where guests can experience the history of Kabuki and Naritasan.
Inside the hotel, items from the Ichikawa family's collection and other Kabuki-related pieces are displayed, creating the luxury of a stay that feels like spending the night in an art museum. Guests can also join an exclusive Naritasan worship tour for hotel guests only, visiting places connected to the main Ichikawa Kabuki family and lucky spots together with a guide.
The guest rooms feature a calming Japanese-modern design, offering relaxation away from the bustle of daily life. The spacious public bath uses graphite silica stone, also known as a "stone where gods reside," for a soothing experience that warms the body to its core through far-infrared effects. Meals are served as the hotel's original Waqoo Kaiseki, a creative Japanese course based on Kyoto cuisine. This one-of-a-kind course adds the hotel's own touch to Kyoto cuisine, which originated in Kyoto, the birthplace of Kabuki. The chef's seasonal tasting course, made with carefully selected ingredients of the season, is especially popular.
