“Furuyu Onsen ONCRI / Onkuri” is a hot spring resort nestled in the mountains of Saga City, Saga Prefecture. Its appeal lies in its peaceful setting, surrounded by lush greenery and clear streams. Located in a mountain valley in the Sefuri Mountain Range, which straddles the border of Fukuoka and Saga prefectures, it is also easily accessible from central Fukuoka.

The hot spring uses its own source of Furuyu Onsen, a famous spring also known as “Bijin no Yu,” or “beauty bath.” With a spring temperature of Approx. 100°F, the water is pleasantly lukewarm, making it easy to soak for a long time without tiring. The baths include an open-air bath with views of Mt. Tenzan, as well as reclining baths, standing baths, and box steam baths, for a total of 15 bathing areas for men and women combined.

The hotel features a Japanese-modern design throughout. In addition to Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, there are also detached guest rooms with terraces or semi-open-air baths. Meals are served at the hotel’s three restaurants. You can enjoy seasonal Kyushu ingredients, centered on produce from Saga, in natural Italian cuisine, Japanese kaiseki, and teppanyaki. There is also a kids’ space and a gift shop selling notable local products from Saga. This is a refined hot spring stay where you can fully enjoy hot springs and the flavors of Saga in the midst of nature.
