Ishizuchi Ski Resort

A silvery-white ski slope on sacred Mt. Ishizuchi with sweeping views over the cityscape of Saijo.

Last update :

One of the largest snow resorts in Shikoku, this scenic destination is surrounded by the grand natural beauty of sacred Mt. Ishizuchi. From the lift heading to the top of the slopes, you can take in sweeping views of the snow-covered landscape, making it a great place to enjoy not only skiing and snowboarding, but also the scenery. On clear days, you may even be able to see as far as the Seto Inland Sea.

The resort offers courses for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers, as well as a dedicated snowboard-only area.
The gentle beginner course, located Approx. 150 m from the ropeway summit station, also hosts ski and snowboard lessons. There is also a space where visitors can play in the snow and enjoy sledding.
The two intermediate and advanced courses offer sweeping views toward the summit of Mt. Ishizuchi and, across the Seto Inland Sea, all the way to Mt. Daisen on clear days. On days when natural snowfall can be expected, one course may be opened in off-piste condition, offering the chance for powder runs. During the high season, a mogul lane is also planned to appear.
