Takarazuka Kita Service Area
One of western Japan’s premier service areas serving traffic in both directions, with an extensive menu and product selection.
This service area is filled with a variety of “treasures,” including Southern European-style architecture inspired by the Hana no Mich area in central Takarazuka and displays of character merchandise and sculptures by Osamu Tezuka, who had close ties to the city. Based on the concept of a “Treasure Island on the Highway,” it is one of western Japan’s premier service areas serving traffic in both directions.
The shopping area features a Select Sweets Corner offering well-known treats from Takarazuka and nearby cities such as Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto. A product reservation service is also available, allowing travelers to reserve items until the day they return from their trip or secure popular products before they sell out.
The food court offers a wide-ranging menu, including dishes from renowned Hyogo ramen shop Ramen Senmon Nagomi, original omurice specialist Hokkyokusei from Osaka’s Minami district, and items supervised by Daiki Suisan, whose motto is “Freshness Is a Feast.”
Mori no Pan is a concept bakery designed to evoke a bakery in the forest. Its offerings include buttery sweet breads and loaves that are soft all the way to the crust. At Tully’s Coffee Togeno Garden Cafe, visitors can relax over coffee and other beverages.
The elegant women’s restroom, decorated with chandeliers, also has a powder area and dressing room. Other facilities include a 24-hour nursing room, diaper-changing area, baby food area, children’s play area, off-leash dog run, and an outdoor terrace where guests can dine with their pets. With some of the most extensive facilities of any service or parking area in western Japan, it is a convenient place to take a break, dine, and shop while traveling.
