Starbucks Coffee Naha Kyohara

Opened in 2025, this was the first Starbucks in Okinawa Prefecture to be located inside a park. Situated on the Kyohara side of Manko Park in Naha, it offers a lush natural setting despite its urban location. Manko is a Ramsar-designated wetland, and many migratory birds visit the park surrounding its tidal flats in winter.

Large windows overlook banyan trees and green lawns. Ryukyu pine, the official tree of Okinawa Prefecture, is used for parts of the counter and walls. A hand-drawn mural extending from the exterior depicts coffee plants, farms, and local flora and fauna, creating a sense of harmony with the park. A community table stands at the center, providing a comfortable space where people naturally gather and conversations flow.

The store has 50 seats, with 36 indoors and 14 on the terrace. Guests can also borrow woven mats made from Okinawan bīgu rush grass and relax with their coffee on the lawn. Whether stopping by after a walk through Manko Park or taking a morning break, visitors can spend their time as they please depending on the weather and time of day. The menu also features a wide selection of Okinawa-exclusive items made with locally produced brown sugar, offering flavors distinctive to the region.
