    Yushima Tenmangu is known as the shrine of learning.

    During exam season, it gets crowded with lots of visitors. The ema plaques are filled with wishes for school entrance exams and certification tests.

    So many real, heartfelt hopes on display. I hope everyone passes!!

    You'll need to walk uphill to get to Yushima Tenmangu, so it's a good idea to get your legs ready in advance—or just treat it as a workout on the day! There's also a cow statue you can touch, plus beautiful omamori charms and goshuin stamps with lovely calligraphy.
