Chidorigafuchi Green Way is undoubtedly one of Tokyo's premier cherry blossom viewing spots. Walking beneath the 700-meter-long tunnel of cherry blossoms, the blooms on both sides form a beautiful pink tunnel. When a gentle breeze blows, the petals flutter down, creating a very romantic scene that blends with the surface of the moat into an incomparable poetic landscape. Whether admiring the profusion of blossoms during the day or the dreamlike illuminated cherry blossoms at night, it is deeply enchanting.

Chidorigafuchi Green Way is one of Tokyo’s classic cherry blossom spots. When the sakura are in full bloom on both sides, walking along the moat feels like watching cherry blossoms cascade down like a waterfall. During the day, the sight of small boats gently drifting on the water is incredibly relaxing.

However, once night falls and the cherry blossoms are lit up, that peaceful feeling seems to belong only to the people out on the water. On the shore, the real photography battle is just getting started. The nighttime sakura were beautiful, but the competition for photo spots along the bank was so intense that after quickly pressing the shutter a few times, I decided to leave the battlefield early and head home!

Visiting Chidorigafuchi during cherry blossom season was truly moving. The cherry blossoms in full bloom on both sides of the path formed a soft pink sea of flowers. When the breeze blew, the petals slowly drifted down, making it feel as romantic as a movie scene.

We strolled and took photos along the way, and every few steps we couldn’t help but stop to admire the view. The cherry blossoms reflected on the moat were beautiful from every angle. It’s no wonder so many people come here every year to see the sakura. If you have the chance to visit when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it will definitely leave you with unforgettable memories.

At night, after work, lots of Japanese office workers come here to see the cherry blossoms lit up. There are actually more people at night than during the day.
