    The cherry blossoms near the main keep are really beautiful. Even though you can't go inside, just seeing the cherry blossoms nearby is nice too.

    One of Japan's top 100 castles. It's really unfortunate that it was damaged by the earthquake. I hope it gets fully restored soon.

    The earthquake damage here seems pretty serious. When I visited, only a small part was open to the public. I guess the Japanese are really careful when it comes to restoring historical sites, so it might be a long time before everything is fully open again.
