Aomoriya is a place that packs Aomori culture into one resort.

The ponies greeting guests and the warm, peaceful tatami rooms made a great impression. At night, “Michinoku Matsuriya” recreates the lively atmosphere of the Aomori Nebuta Festival.

The kids loved the apple juice tap and kept going back for cup after cup.

The buffet dinner was incredibly abundant and full of Aomori特色: sweet, fresh shrimp, thick raw scallops, and freshly grilled miso giant scallops... everything was delicious.

Both the Ukiyu and Motoyu hot springs had a wonderful atmosphere, and the water quality was excellent. They even had a moon-shaped bathtub, a large bath for children, kids’ bathing chairs, and even a crib in the changing room, so little ones could enjoy the hot spring experience too.

The hallways at Aomoriya are filled with goldfish lanterns. At night there’s also a paid festival show, and you can join in—it’s super lively and so much fun!

The food was also really delicious.

Walking around the property is easy and relaxing. Especially soaking in the foot bath while looking out at the lake—what a treat for both body and mind. It’s truly a different kind of experience.

Great service and accommodation quality. The festival-themed performances are a unique experience—definitely worth trying!

This is a high-end inn. Besides the great food, hot springs, and accommodations, the hotel also offers traditional entertainment shows. It was a fantastic stay.
