Kajo Park—once you walk in, you see this huge open space. It's really comfortable. Even though there are lots of people during cherry blossom season, the park is so big and the cherry trees are everywhere, so everyone can find a nice spot to enjoy the blossoms. It really lifts your spirits.

Kajo Park is a great spot in Yamagata Prefecture for autumn leaves viewing, especially if you're visiting Zao Onsen. There are hot springs, beautiful fall colors, and amazing scenery. It's a place you'll want to come back to again and again!
Kajo Park looks like a castle made of flowers from afar! It's actually a bit of a walk from the river, but the flowers are so huge and impressive. You can really feel how majestic it is! ❤️
