At Takumishuku, there's a nice spot called Marutaniya Teahouse where you can try the local specialty, grated yam dishes. You can also visit the nationally designated scenic site, Togetsuho Chaya-dera. It's a really relaxing place.

At Mariko Sunpu Takumishuku in Shizuoka City, you can experience traditional Shizuoka crafts. I followed the tea-dyeing artisan and listened to stories about tea dyeing. It was such a rewarding experience.
