How can you come to Japan and not stop by Don Quijote? Every time I say, “I’ll just buy a few things,” I end up walking out with several bags in my hands.

You can find everything here: snacks, drugstore items, cosmetics, electronics, and souvenirs. The prices are often cheaper than expected, and there are lots of limited-edition items to hunt for.

Whether you’re stocking up or just buying random stuff, it’s way too easy to go overboard here. I recommend making a list first. Also, download the app so you can use coupons! Otherwise, your wallet might cry!

The inside is such a mess. The shelves don’t feel organized at all, so finding anything takes forever.

Going at night is even worse—tons of tourists plus locals, and it’s super loud.

You can seriously get lost in here and end up not even knowing what you're buying. Only realize you grabbed five extra bags when you walk out the door!

The tax-free service for foreigners is really convenient, and there are staff who speak Chinese to help out right on site.

There are a lot of products, but it's really messy inside. The stairs and aisles are way too narrow, and it's hard to get around.

It's impossible not to wander into this place when you're in the busiest part of Shinjuku. Ended up spending quite a bit without even realizing it.
