When strolling around Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple, you'll often see rice crackers made by Tokiwado Kaminari-okoshi Honpo, the most iconic of which is okoshi. This traditional snack is made with rice grains, sugar, and other ingredients. It's crispy, sweet without being too rich, and has long been a popular everyday treat in Asakusa. The individually wrapped pieces are perfect for taking home to share with friends, family, or coworkers〜

I love the peanut flavor the most. The salty and sweet balance is just right—not too heavy at all. The brown sugar one is pretty good too. It kind of reminds me of traditional Hong Kong candies, but with an extra layer of toasty flavor.
