Located on Kouri Island, Kouri Island Station Sorahashi is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some food after crossing the bridge!

It has a spacious, open rest area with plenty of local snacks and specialty stalls. In addition to Kouri Island's famous sea urchin rice bowls and local Okinawan dishes, a refreshing blue shaved ice or a delicate dessert is especially satisfying on a hot summer day. The plaza also sells a wide selection of local agricultural products and souvenirs, making it a great stop for supplies, a meal, photos, and a break while exploring the island!

The stuff they sell inside is pretty tourist-oriented—Okinawan souvenirs, snacks, and ice cream. Prices are what you’d expect at a sightseeing spot, but it’s still fine for picking up gifts.

If you’re hungry, it’s a good place to grab a quick bite, have a drink, and take a short break.
