S-PAL Fukushima is a popular shopping center directly connected to Fukushima Station’s east exit, serving as a major gateway to the Tohoku region since its opening in 1988. Conveniently linked to both the Tohoku Shinkansen and local JR lines, it attracts both locals and tourists alike.

Shinjuku Golden Gai
A traditional, retro-style bar district in Shinjuku's Kabukicho, where about 300 wooden row-house style shops line the narrow alleyways. Renowned for offering an intimate encounter with Japanese culture.
Golden Gai is the most iconic part of Kabukicho's culture. The narrow alleys are packed with a nostalgic Japanese vibe. Each bar is pretty small, maybe just four or five tsubo. It's easy to strike up a conversation over drinks, and there are lots of foreigners here trying it out too. Great place to make new friends! 😊
