Lake Yamanaka Panorama-dai
A stunning viewpoint along Prefectural Route 730, stretching from Lake Yamanaka, one of the Fuji Five Lakes scattered across the northern foothills of Mt. Fuji on the Yamanashi side, to Mikuni Pass. From here, you can take in Lake Yamanaka below, Mt. Fuji beyond it, and even the Southern Alps on a clear day. The most magical time is at dusk, when the lake surface turns orange. The scenery is beautiful in every season: fresh greenery in spring and vibrant, refreshing views in summer.
The view is super wide open—you can see both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka at the same time 👍👍
When the weather’s good, it’s seriously so gorgeous it looks like a postcard.
The breeze feels amazing, and it’s perfect for taking photos and checking in.
There’s also a café, so you can sip coffee while soaking in the scenery. Super chill!
