The water at Onneto changes color depending on the weather. On sunny days, it turns a dreamy emerald green.
It’s surrounded by pristine forest, so it feels very quiet and relaxing. Getting there is a bit inconvenient, though, so it’s best if you’re driving and can take your time exploring.

The whole park is wrapped in a sea of lights. Walking inside feels like strolling through a fairy tale. The flower-shaped lights are super cute, and there are tunnels, arches, and photo spots that all look magical. The space is big, so it never feels crowded, and the photos turn out amazing. On a chilly night, the warm lights make the atmosphere just perfect. It's a great spot for couples or friends to take their time, explore, and snap lots of pics. Super relaxing and really soothing!

The exterior looks like something out of a fairy tale, with colorful walls, quirky towers, and golden domes. It seriously feels like a scene from a Miyazaki movie. Even though it’s actually a waste treatment plant, it doesn’t look like one at all, and it’s super photogenic!
The building was designed by Austrian artist Hundertwasser, so it feels both eco-friendly and creative. You can also join a guided tour, where they explain how trash is sorted and processed, which makes it pretty educational.
It’s a bit far out, but the place is truly impressive in person. If you like unique architecture or Instagram-worthy spots, you’ll definitely love it. -
The Akaushi beef here is pretty lean, but it's super tender. Just a few seconds in the hot pot and you can taste its sweetness and aroma. It's light and not greasy at all. The restaurant is clean and bright, and the staff are really friendly. Perfect if you want to try Kumamoto beef in Tokyo without any fuss. It's not cheap, but the quality of the meat totally justifies the price. Great spot to enjoy with friends or family.
