21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa
Since its opening in 2004 with the theme of “An art museum open to the world,” it has grown into the nation’s most popular museum that made the name, Kanazawa, tied to art with the unique exhibition methods.
This museum is really fun and full of contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit.
Mount Wakakusa
Mt. Wakakusa is a grass-covered gentle mountain, 342 meters above sea level. It is also called “Mt. Mikasa” because it looks like three hats stacked on top of each other. It is well-known for its annual Yamayaki, a Nara traditional event held in January.
Climbing to the top of this not-so-high mountain gives you a nice view of Nara city. It's pretty beautiful.
HUIS TEN BOSCH
This is the largest theme park in Japan, with beautiful European-like cityscapes and a canal that leads to the sea. The park is decorated with seasonal flowers and illuminations and has a wide range of the latest attractions. The park is also filled with excitement and a moving experience through a variety of events.
The scenery here is really beautiful and elegant. There are so many lovely sights to enjoy inside the park.
The National Diet Building
The construction started in 1920 (the 9th of the Taisho period) and was completed in 1936 (the 11th of the Showa period) as a building for the House of the Imperial Diet. The building is designed to be symmetric, in which the central tower is located between the right-wing for the house of Representatives and the left-wing for the House of Councilors. Both houses accept visitors and provide tours (Free charge). Each tour takes about an hour respectively. The security staff of the building of each house guides visitors in a certain course.
I got to see the facilities inside. It's really impressive and was a great experience.
[Closed Down] CURRY HOUSE CoCo ICHIBANYA Shibuya-ku Udagawacho
This is a restaurant where you can eat a Japanese-style curry that has lots of thick and rich curry sauce poured over white rice.

Obusedo Honten
Set in the Obuse, the birthplace of chestnut treats in Japan, this long-standing confectionery has been selling chestnut-based goodies ever since the Meiji Period. Just like its start over a century ago, this shop continues to serve up traditional chestnut goodness made with pure chestnut paste, with treats like Kuri-kanoko, chestnut yokan, rakugan and more. Each treat is made without any additives, just chestnuts and sugar for a smooth chestnut paste that keeps in all the delicious flavor.
The shop has a great sense of design, and the staff are super friendly.
Tokyo Marriott Hotel
A hotel set in Gotenyama, a historic and quiet neighborhood known for its beautiful greenery. Despite being in central Tokyo, it offers a relaxed, restful stay. With quick access to Tokyo Station, Ginza, and Roppongi, it’s an ideal location for both business and sightseeing.
There’s a big variety of food and everything tastes good. The hotel also has a shuttle to Shinagawa Station, which is really convenient!
Nationally designated Important Cultural Property, The Iwase Residence
The largest 5-story house in Japan with a rafter roof, which took 8 years to build about 300 years ago. The residence is an important building inheriting the architectural style at that time, and is designated as a Nationally designated Important Cultural Property.
After exploring, I learned how people in the past found ways to survive in tough conditions.
Hiroshima Orizuru Tower
A complex of buildings adjacent to the Atomic Bomb Dome, this is a landmark tower in Hiroshima where visitors can enjoy scenery and experiences that can only be found here. As a sightseeing area, the Souvenir select (product hall) and café on the first floor, the "Orizuru Square" and "Orizuru Wall" on the 12th floor, and the "Hiroshima Hills" observatory deck on the roof are open to the public.
The rooftop observatory offers views of Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. The night view is beautiful—definitely a nice spot to visit.
