Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo
Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo is one of only five Starbucks Roasteries worldwide and the only one in Japan. It houses an on-site roastery within its 2,966-square-meter space. This special venue brings together a passion for coffee, Japanese craftsmanship, and the spirit of hospitality. The building, designed by architect Kengo Kuma, is also a highlight.
As soon as you walk in, the high ceilings and huge copper coffee bean storage cask catch your eye. The most special part is being able to see the coffee roasting equipment up close, with the aroma of coffee filling the entire space. The extensive wood decor and glass windows also make the space feel very comfortable.

Since its opening in 2004 with the theme of “An art museum open to the world,” it has grown into the nation’s most popular museum that made the name, Kanazawa, tied to art with the unique exhibition methods.
This museum is really fun and full of contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit.

Mount Wakakusa
Mt. Wakakusa is a grass-covered gentle mountain, 342 meters above sea level. It is also called “Mt. Mikasa” because it looks like three hats stacked on top of each other. It is well-known for its annual Yamayaki, a Nara traditional event held in January.
Climbing to the top of this not-so-high mountain gives you a nice view of Nara city. It's pretty beautiful.
