Utatsuyama Park
A park spread across Mt. Utatsu, with sweeping views over central Kanazawa. Also known as a famous flower-viewing spot, it is especially worth visiting for the Japanese irises and hydrangeas that bloom from early June to mid-July. The upper section is arranged as "Terraced-Field Japanese Irises," the middle section as "Stream and Japanese Irises," and the lower section as "Pond and Japanese Irises," where Approx. 20,000 Japanese iris plants of 58 varieties and 2,900 hydrangea bushes bloom in abundance.
The view of Kanazawa from here is fantastic. It’s really open and spacious.
It feels like more of a local spot, so it wasn’t crowded and had a very მშვიდ quiet atmosphere. It’s even more charming at night.
