Toyama Station
Toyama Station is a key transport hub linking travel across Toyama Prefecture and beyond, served by the Hokuriku Shinkansen, JR conventional lines, and Ainokaze Toyama Railway. It also features a rare design in Japan, with a streetcar running north-south through the station for easy travel around the city.
An important transportation hub in the Hokuriku region, it is also a major transfer point for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Gokayama, Kanazawa, and other destinations. The station has souvenir shops, a food court, cafés, and convenience stores. Travelers can try local specialties such as Toyama white shrimp and black ramen, as well as shop for Hokuriku-exclusive products.
