Mizumoto Park
Mizumoto Park features beautiful waterside scenery and is built along the Koaidame reservoir. Within the vast 96-hectare park you’ll find rows of poplar trees and a metasequoia forest, making it a great location for leisurely walks and forest bathing.
This is such a comfortable park with flowers blooming everywhere. The environment is beautiful and full of vibrant colors. I couldn't stop taking pictures!
The Time Bell Tower (Toki no kane)
Kawagoe is only about an hour away from the center of Tokyo, and it is a city where you can enjoy the quaint streets. One of the most famous tourist landmarks in this city is the Bell of Time. It is a landmark with a striking presence in the street lined with old-fashioned warehouses.
Kawagoe is not far from Tokyo. There are lots of little shops, cafes, and restaurants around. It's really relaxing to walk around here—none of the noise you get in the city. The peaceful charm of this small town is wonderful.
Miraikan
At the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), the humanoid robot "ASIMO" and the androids "ALTER" and "OTONAROID" are popular.
Visiting the science museum feels futuristic. Sitting in the seats and looking up at the huge globe with sparkling stars all around is just breathtaking. The Chinese audio guide was especially great. It didn't feel rushed at all.

Karuizawa became popular as a villa or resort location for foreigners living in Japan in the 19th century. It is now a popular sightseeing location that hearkens back to those times, and it is home to bountiful nature and a quiet and refined atmosphere. Karuizawa Music Box Museum is located on Old Karuizawa Ginza Street, a main street filled with restaurants and shops. You’re sure to find a wide variety of beautiful music boxes around!

Hida Great Limestone Cave & Ohashi Collection Kan Museum
Located between Hida Takayama and Okuhida Hot Spring Villages, it is one of the most famous limestone caves in Japan, with a total length of about 800 meters. Amongst the sightseeing limestones, it is also known for being located at the highest altitude in Japan. Inside the cave, which was created naturally over a period of time from coral reefs 250 million years ago, you can see intricate white stalactites.
Walking through the cave, it's a constant 12°C. The natural scenery is truly impressive—there's so much to see! You can even buy red wine here, which is pretty unique.

The electronics retailer BIC CAMERA and the fashion business retailer UNIQLO have collaborated to open a shopping building. From peripheral equipment for computers and consumer electronics for daily life to ladies and mens wear, you can shop for an extensive assortment of items in a single building, so it is very convenient.

Benesse House Museum Café
This café is located on the 2nd floor of the Benesse House Museum, a combination museum and hotel. Natural light shines through the wide open windows on the south and west sides, so you can relax and enjoy a light meal or a drink while looking out over the Seto Inland Sea.
With the floor-to-ceiling windows, the aroma of coffee, and this stunning view, sharing the moment with someone you love—it's pure happiness.
Restaurant Ajitetsu Maiko
The Ajitetsu restaurant is located in Maiko Park, Kobe, and is known their carefully selected Japanese Black Wagyu beef raised in Japan. This world-renown high quality Kobe beef is served in a variety of styles; grilled steak, shabu-shabu (a hotpot dish with thinly sliced beef cooked in boiling water), yakiniku BBQ, sukiyaki (a simmered hotpot dish with a soy sauce and sugar base)
We sat on tatami mats and enjoyed a meal together as a family. The marbling on the Wagyu beef looked like blooming flowers and just melted in your mouth. Watching the bridge while dining was a treat for both body and soul.
Kurushima Strait Boat Tour
The Shimanami Kaido road, which connects Onomichi City in Honshu to Imabari city on Shikoku island, crosses over several islands in the Seto Inland Sea, Oshima island being the last one at the southern end of the road.
Taking the boat and seeing the Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge was truly impressive, especially at sunset when the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
Harvest Hill
Harvest Hill is a place where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and interaction with animals. There are a lot of attractions, from rides that can be enjoyed by all ages to thrilling aerial athletic activities. Another attraction is that you can enjoy beautiful flowers throughout the year, such as tulips in the spring, sunflowers in the summer, and cosmos in the fall.
There are different flower exhibitions throughout the year. It's a paradise for flower lovers—absolutely beautiful and uplifting. I definitely want to visit again!
