Okada Kinsei Anbataya
Okada Kinsei Anbataya is a shop developed by KCC Co. Ltd., the company that operates the popular Hokkaido western sweets brand LeTAO. Their primary products are “Anbata Bread” and “Anbata Financiers.”
One bite and I was honestly amazed! The bread is soft, and the filling just melts in your mouth. It’s pure happiness.
Nachi Waterfall
Kumano-Nachi Taisha is the main shrine of over 4000 Kumano Shrines dotting Japan. This waterfall stands within the holy area, The grandest fall in Japan is 133m-tall, 13m-wide at the mouth, where water begins to fall, and the plunge pool is 10m-deep, and pours over 1 ton/second of water through three wedges which merges as one fall, thus called “Three Stream Fall.”
Nachi Waterfall is truly impressive. Standing in front of it makes you feel so small. The mist from the falls feels like a cleansing for both body and mind—so relaxing.
Warayakiya Roppongi
Serving dishes using plenty of unique ingredients local to Tosa (Kochi Prefecture). In addition to table seats and regular seating, for smaller numbers, counter seats are available and highly recommended.
The dishes here are really unique and everything looked so appetizing. Super tasty food!
Otaru Orgel Doh Main Hall
This music box specialty shop has branches in various locations such as Otaru, Hakodate, Furano, Yokohama, Kamakura, and Kyoto. Its main building, which is the main shop, was built in 1915 (Taisho 4) and is designated as a historic building by Otaru City, preserving the remnants of the good old days.
A must-visit spot in Hokkaido. It's such a special place that I'd love to come back again.
Osaka Takashimaya
This longstanding department store is a landmark of the Osaka/Namba area. It was revamped and opened in March 2011 with an all new line up of beloved stores and brands.
Great place to shop and browse. The service is excellent—no complaints at all.
Shirarahama Beach
With 620-meter-long pristine white sand, Shirarahama Beach is one of the best beaches in the Kansai area and selected among the best 100 bathing beaches in Japan. About 600,000 people visit the beach every year.
The endless ocean view here is so relaxing and refreshing. It really soothes the soul.
Music Box & Handicrafts Studio You-kobo
At the Music Box & Handicrafts Studio You-kobo you can try making your own music box by hand. You can decide on the body and tone of your music box, then choose your favorite glass accessories. You can also choose from a variety of songs and decorations for the exterior, so the result is a completely unique one-of-a-kind music box with your favorite song in it!
When I visited Otaru Canal, the place had such a strong international vibe. Listening to the music box while sipping coffee—those moments are truly unforgettable.
Takachiho Gorge
Takachiho Gorge is a narrow v-shaped chasm made over thousands of years by the Gokase River’s erosion of Mt. Aso’s volcanic rock. This spectacular place is surrounded by cliffs that average 80 meters in height (reaching up to 100 meters) and extend along for 7 kilometers. Takachiho Gorge has been designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty.
The scenery here is beautiful—it's a great spot to clear your mind. The Chihiro Waterfall is full of phytoncides and cultural atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting again.
