One of the three great night views, the Mt. Hakodate Observatory, at an elevation of over 300 meters, is undoubtedly one of Japan’s most iconic romantic destinations.
Once you board the spacious aerial ropeway straight to the summit, the harbor and city views outside the windows grow more expansive as you climb, building anticipation for the spectacular scenery ahead.
At the outdoor observation deck, the most breathtaking sight is the unique terrain forming a perfect double curve. As night falls and thousands of lights gradually come on, the sea of city lights between Tsugaru Bay and Hakodate Bay sparkles brilliantly, like a magnificent pair of wings covered in jewels.
Whether it’s the magical colors of the sky at sunset or the spectacular million-dollar night view after dark, every second is so beautiful that you won’t want to look away.
I highly recommend making the Mt. Hakodate Observatory the grand finale of your Hokkaido itinerary. Whether you’re taking in the romantic atmosphere high above the city or quietly admiring this unbeatable world-class night view, it will bring your trip to northern Japan to the most stunning and unforgettable perfect ending!

Along the streets lined with red brick buildings, the rustic warehouses set against the green slopes of Mt. Hakodate immediately create a distinctive European and port-city atmosphere.
This multi-use commercial complex was converted from old warehouses. Inside, the wide variety of specialty shops, creative goods, souvenir stores, and delicious restaurants is almost overwhelming, with surprises everywhere.
As you stroll along the stone-paved waterfront promenade, you can often see the canal shimmering in the sea breeze. Whether you visit during the day to admire the contrast of red brick and blue sky or at night for the romantic atmosphere after the lights come on, it’s completely captivating.
I highly recommend adding the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse to your Hakodate itinerary. Whether you’re shopping to your heart’s content for souvenirs, tasting local food, or enjoying a leisurely harbor stroll, it will definitely leave you with the warmest and most meaningful memories of your trip to northern Japan!

The terminal facilities are quite comprehensive, with clear flight information boards, crowds lining up to check in, and large windows offering views of various passenger planes parked on the apron and the ground crews at work.
Before leaving on your flight, you can also catch sight of the planes on the apron through the windows in the waiting area while reminiscing about this wonderful vacation in northern Japan.
I highly recommend making Hakodate Airport the final stop on your Hokkaido itinerary. Whether it’s the efficient departure procedures, the comfortable terminal environment, or getting ready to board with plenty of souvenirs and a reluctance to leave, it’s sure to provide the perfect ending to the entire trip!

If you want to try one of the area’s most iconic legendary foods, Lucky Pierrot, a cheerful circus-themed burger chain found only in southern Hokkaido, is definitely a must-visit destination.
As soon as you walk inside, you’ll be drawn to the eye-catching giant signs, colorful clown decorations, and distinctive retro American atmosphere. There are even super-cute, oversized hamburger-shaped seats where you can take commemorative photos.
The portions are generous, and the food is surprisingly delicious. Whether it’s the signature popular fried chicken burger, the crispy pork cutlet burger, or the rich soft-serve ice cream and specialty drinks, every bite is satisfying.
While enjoying your meal by the window, you can gaze out at the harbor or street views and enjoy a relaxing taste of Hokkaido’s slower pace of life.
I highly recommend adding Lucky Pierrot to your itinerary when visiting Hakodate. Whether you come to experience the unique local fast-food culture or dig into a truly satisfying burger, it’s sure to leave you with some of the happiest and most delicious memories of your trip to northern Japan!

As soon as you enter the solemn, historic temple grounds, the magnificent main hall and surrounding greenery instantly shut out the noise of the city, and the air feels peaceful and sacred.
The most striking classic view is looking ahead from in front of the main hall or along the stone-paved approach. Behind the traditional temple architecture, the modern red-and-white Tokyo Tower forms a perfect backdrop.
This unique scene of an ancient temple and a modern landmark in the same frame is not only visually dramatic, but something everyone visiting Tokyo should see in person.
I highly recommend including Zojoji Temple in your Tokyo walking itinerary. Whether you’re visiting for quiet reflection, exploring its historical ties to Tokugawa Ieyasu’s family, or capturing the stunning blend of old and new, it will leave a lasting impression.

As soon as I took the high-speed elevator to the top floor and stepped onto the open-air observation deck, I was completely blown away by the unobstructed 360-degree panoramic view, blue sky, and white clouds.
The most impressive part is the open-air sky corridor with nothing blocking the view. Looking down from the edge, the bustling crowds at Shibuya Crossing flow like a miniature model, and Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree are clearly visible in the distance.
In addition to the breathtaking views from above, the rooftop has a large lawn and comfortable lounge chairs where you can relax under the blue sky and clouds, enjoying the ultimate sense of openness from high above.
I highly recommend adding SHIBUYA SKY to your itinerary when visiting Tokyo. Whether you want to capture sweeping views, take dramatic photos by the glass edge, or experience the pulse of Tokyo's trendiest scene, it will definitely leave you with unforgettable memories of your trip!

I highly recommend planning your visit from dusk into the evening. Whether you're sampling the many popular foods worth lining up for or experiencing the authentic everyday energy of Kansai, you're sure to leave with exhilarating memories.

If you want to experience the lively appeal of everyday local food, Kuromon Market, known as Osaka’s Kitchen, is definitely the top place to visit.
As soon as you reach the entrance, you’re greeted by large overhead signs and bustling crowds, while the tempting aroma of food constantly fills the air.
This traditional market, with nearly 200 years of history, stretches about 600 meters and is home to more than 100 stalls and shops.
Inside, the dazzling array of stalls on both sides includes premium freshly grilled seafood, authentic Osaka snacks, and wagyu beef, all amid a lively shopping atmosphere.
Although it feels quite commercial, walking through the covered arcade and seeing the vendors enthusiastically calling out to customers still gives you a strong sense of the local character.
I highly recommend setting aside a morning or lunchtime visit. Whether you come hungry and eat your way through the market or simply take in its vibrant food culture, you’ll leave with satisfying memories.
