The shopping streets around here feel a bit old and even kind of run-down. At night, some of the alleys nearby have a weird vibe, and the area doesn't feel very safe.

Abeno Harukas
Opened in 2014, the 300-meter-high skyscraper is a mix-use complex building. From the two basement floors to the 14th level you’ll find Kintetsu Department Store (Main Store Abeno Harukas) and the Abeno Harukas Dining restaurant floors.
The night view is absolutely beautiful. Looking out over every corner of the city is really special.

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Inside a 600,000 square meter area, there is a zoo, botanical garden, and an amusement park. The scale is so big that you cannot go around this zoo, botanical garden in one day. Especially in the zoo, there are 450 types of animals, many of them are quite popular like the Koala, a symbol of the zoo.
There are so many different kinds of animals, and the park layout is really spacious. Almost every area has a restroom, which is super convenient.
