Atera Valley is seriously gorgeous! The stream is so clear it practically sparkles, and when the sunlight hits it, it turns this beautiful blue-green color. No wonder they call it “Atera Blue.”
Walking along the path by the water feels so refreshing, and it’s especially nice in summer. You can even soak your feet or play in the water. The drive feels a bit deep into the mountains, but once you arrive, it all feels totally worth it!

Yagoto-san Kōshō-ji Temple
A Shingon Buddhist temple founded in 1688 by Priest Tenrui Enshō. Long revered as a place for learning and training. Since Tokugawa Mitsutomo (1625-1700), the second lord of the Owari Domain, became a devotee, Kōshō-ji received support from the Owari Tokugawa family, including the construction of temple halls and donations of many treasures. The grounds feature many Edo-period structures, such as the Nishiyama Main Hall and Nōman Hall.
A very historic-feeling temple—once you walk in, you can immediately feel how peaceful it is.
There’s a five-story pagoda, and with all the greenery around it, it looks really solemn. It’s also great for photos.
Cherry blossoms in spring, fall foliage in autumn—every season has its own beauty.
Overall it’s quiet and not too crowded, a lovely place for a walk and to clear your mind. -
Tokyo Disneyland
Known and loved as the “kingdom of dreams and magic”, this full-scale themepark is just a 15 min. train ride from Tokyo Station.
Tokyo Disneyland is absolutely magical 😭! The parades and attractions are fantastic. Both adults and kids have an amazing time—one day just isn't enough. It's like a real-life fairy tale world!

Okonomiyaki Ishin
An okonomiyaki restaurant in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, serving customers since 1990. Ishin’s okonomiyaki is thick, with a unique texture-crispy on the outside and moist inside. The batter is made with local Kokura sake and rested overnight, creating an addictively soft and chewy bite. The menu offers over 30 varieties, from seafood and meats to natto or okra, plus options loaded with cheese.
It’s a cozy little Japanese-style spot. The space isn’t big, but it feels really warm and welcoming—like the kind of izakaya you’d stumble upon in a back alley in Japan. And the food was seriously delicious!
