The shrine itself isn’t big, but the location is amazing. From up there you can look out over the entire hot spring town plus the mountain views.

Mochio Park
The only park in Miyazaki Prefecture selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots," this is a cherished spot for locals. From late March to early April, approximately 2,600 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura, bloom, vividly coloring the entire park.
The cherry blossom tunnel in the park attracts lots of visitors for hanami, making it a lively and festive spot.

Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens / Ropeway
Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens is the largest herb garden facility in Japan, where you can see 75,000 herbs of around 200 different species, growing at an altitude of about 400 meters. It is filled with fresh scents and colors all year round.
The garden has a European-style design and sells lots of herbs and related products. There's a light, pleasant fragrance in the air, and the plants are beautifully maintained.
