After going once, I really think this is a must-visit place when you go to Sunshine City. The venue is very pleasant, and the seats are comfortable too. You can lie back and watch the stars. We watched Detective Conan: The Flashing Spacecraft, and as always, it was a cool mystery action movie. The picture shows a capsule toy I got there. It's a constellation capsule toy that can project onto a wall. It's highly collectible. The capsule toy machine is next to the shop, and I recommend getting one when you go.

Mon cher "Dojima Roll"
The Dojima Roll by Mon cher is a delightful roll cake made with rich, freshly whipped cream that sings with the aroma of fresh milk, all wrapped up in a soft, egg-flavored sponge. Unlike typical spiral-shaped roll cakes, the Dojima Roll has a single-wrap design that makes the delicious dollop of cream inside the star. Revel in the rich and aromatic cream that’s so light even the most sophisticated will find this irresistible dessert tastes like love at first bite.
I bought this at the Hankyu Department Store in Umeda. I heard this cake shop is a must-try when visiting Osaka. The cake was good overall, but personally, I still prefer Yannick's cake rolls.

Kuromon Market
Kuromon Market in Minami, the heart of Osaka, is said to have started around 1822 and was approved as an official market by Osaka Prefecture in 1902. The market got the name “Kuromon Market (Black gate market)” because the gate to Enmyoji Temple near the market was black. Since then, it has been loved as Osaka’s favorite kitchen, and it has become a popular tourist attraction these days.
Before coming here, I saw a lot of news reports saying that Kuromon Market overcharges foreign tourists and sells things at very high prices, so I was a little worried. But when I actually visited, I didn't think it was that outrageous, and I had some super delicious sea urchin and Shine Muscat grapes here!!

Lucky Pierrot Marina Suehiro Store
As a popular hamburger chain known for igniting the local burger craze, Lucky Pierrot boasts 17 stores in Hakodate. The Marina Suehiro Store, located opposite the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, is built jutting out into Hakodate Bay. Its interior, replete with an Old American vibe, offers panoramic views of the harbor, including sightseeing boats at anchor.
This is another location I came to specifically to visit a spot featured in Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram. The interior looks exactly like the scene in the movie, which is genuinely moving for Conan fans.
This time, I again ordered the restaurant's signature Chinese Chicken Burger. Maybe it was because I hadn't eaten all day, but this one somehow tasted especially good. (Additional note: The Chinese Chicken Burger is the restaurant's best-selling item. It has crispy fried chicken with a distinctive sauce. Some people describe it as sweet-and-sour, but I personally think it tastes better than regular sweet-and-sour sauce.) The balance of sweet and tangy flavors in the sauce is especially good, and the portion is just right. Even though I don't usually like sweet-and-sour sauce, I really like the flavor of this burger.
Also, this location is larger than the other one. In addition to burgers, it sells merchandise, so you can browse around after eating.
The restaurant's official slogan is "函館に恋して 海がよんでいる," which roughly means "Fall in love with Hakodate, captivated by the sea." Enjoying the romantic atmosphere while eating a burger and looking out at the ocean view in Hakodate—if you're planning to visit the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, I'd recommend this location over the other one. -
